| On the final leg as we move up
H street two doors down form Star bucks is Fado's Irish Pub
(808 7th St NW DC) Fado' pronounced f'doe. 'Fadó a different
type of Irish pub. .... the best of the old with the best of the
new.' (The) decor and friendly staff evoke images of the great old
pubs of Ireland...' their words. Our word Guinness.
Got a little something for the men just
across 7th street, and it really needs no introduction Hooters
(825/29 7th St NW DC) the delightfully tacky and unrefined
restaurant. The most important feature here are the world famous
Hooter's girls. I say it again the world famous Hooters girls. Plus
there's food and brew.
Around the corner on Eye we'll make our
last stop for the evening at Teddy's House of Comedy (617 I
St NW DC). Teddy's brings some of the best comedians in the world
Downtown. Just another example of the new variety in the new
downtown. If laughter is in order then Teddy's is the place. DC's
very own national renounced comic Teddy Carpenter is your host.
Hey that it for evening. Please join me
next month for the second edition of our walking tour of the new
dining options downtown. There is still so much more it experience.
I'm hungry. I've experienced so many tasty aromas, now the hard
question. I think I'll do Chinese tonight. It's and old staple
downtown....
