Three
musicians generating sound so phat and funky you'd swear it was
memorex. And then you turn the corner. And DAMN. No it can't be! But
it is. It is Sam'sHouse. In a time dominated by
digitally loops, recycled drums, dubbed rhythms and samples
Sam,sHouse is a diamond in the rough.
Three seasoned musicians, but together they're magic. They
play funky rock you can feel. Has anyone ever heard of Led Zepplin.
No they are not Plant or Page, but Sam'sHouse phat funky driving
rhythms, breaks, passionate vocals and versatility just bring good
ole rock and roll to mind.
Let's meet the
band ALAN SCOTT (guitar,
vocals) is both an accomplished musician and songwriter. He has
performed with The True, Something Big, Alkaline, The Believers and
Bill Harris Jazz Quartet.
STEVE SIDLEY (bass,
vocals) posses one of the bands many contradictions. A brother is
often brought in for the funky licks. But Steve bass is so thick you
feel it. Make you say play that funky music whiteboy! He has
performed with The True, Derryberry & Alagia, Vertical Horizon,
Shannon Worrell, Red Letter Day, Naked Blue, Annie Sidley and
Jonasay.
And
there's the heart of it all, the hard hitting drummer TED
RAY (drums, vocals). Has performed with Elegant Vilens, After
Image, All 4 One, Uncle Chunky, Urban Funk, Uncut.
