Neo Soul Showcase Tuesdays at Juste Lounge (1015 1/2 7th St NW) is just what Tuesday's needed. A way to shed Monday slow and easy, then cross that threshold towards the weekend.

Beginning every Thursday night DC has one of the hottest party scenes on the east coast, unfortunately the rest of the week is spotty. Smooth soulful jazz, good food, good people with the libation flowing Juste's takes over Tuesday after work and brings you back to life.

Suddenly under your feet you feel a rumble. You ignore it at first, but it continues and intensifies . Then you remember that probably DJ  TIZ warming up down stairs for his nine oclock run. . So at Neo Soul Showcase Tuesday's you get the best of both worlds (live jazz to unwind and DJ TIZ's to bring you back to life in a big way. And at nine he does just that, rocking the whole house. No mad dash to get don to the music but he has everyone's attention. Two minutes later he has the crowd... the party ends at midnight.
